Enum Recovery Copy item path Source pub enum Recovery {
Ltr,
IntraRefresh,
Idr,
}Expand description What the publisher is asked to produce to make the stream decodable again,
cheapest first.
Seyd states intent and the robot-side publisher decides how to meet it: a
publisher that cannot honour Ltr is free to send an IDR instead, and one
that ignores kind entirely behaves exactly as before. Asking for the
cheapest rung matters because an IDR is a bandwidth spike — measured at
30-60 KB against a ~2 KB delta — and on a ~2 Mbps uplink that spike is
120-240 ms of serialisation, which is what field run A recorded as p95.
Re-encode one frame against a long-term reference the pilot still has.
Cheapest: a single ordinary-sized frame restores decodability.
Refresh the picture progressively across many frames. No single frame
is large, so the bitrate stays flat, but decodability returns gradually.
A full keyframe. The only rung that lets a decoder start from nothing,
and the only one a pilot’s request-keyframe can be answered with.
