Expand description

seydd β€” the Seyd robot daemon. See docs/protocol/seydd.md.

The daemon is a host of seyd_core::Agent (ADR 0004): the agent owns discovery, transport, sessions, signaling and certificate maintenance, and seydd supplies the parts that are specific to running as a daemon β€” TOML configuration, RTSP/RTP and UDP inputs, UDP command sinks, and the UDP publisher-control channel. seyd-ffi hosts the same agent differently.

Modules§

config πŸ”’
seydd.toml β€” see docs/protocol/seydd.md.
enrol πŸ”’
seydd enrol --token … β€” redeem an enrolment token issued by the console.
input πŸ”’
Media and sensor inputs. Everything here produces encoded bytes; nothing decodes. The daemon depacketizes (RTP β†’ NAL units) β€” that is framing, not transcoding.
publisher_control πŸ”’
Best-effort JSON to the robot’s publisher (docs/protocol/seydd.md). Fire-and-forget and never fatal: a publisher that ignores this keeps streaming on whatever it was configured with.
